the case of a car with a three-phase charger, the current indicated will be absorbed for each phase (the current
absorption is defined by the car in relation to the condition of the battery), resulting in the relative power value
of a three-phase system. For a car with a single-phase charger (such as a PHEV) on the other hand, the current
value will all be absorbed by the single phase available. In this situation, the recharging power will be different.
EXAMPLE: THREE-PHASE recharging station with the current value set at 16A (the maximum power that can be
dispensed by the station: 11kW):
- when recharging a car with a three-phase charger, the maximum current dispensed is 16A for each of the 3
phases, and the relative charging power is 11kW;
- when recharging a car with a single-phase charger, the maximum current dispensed is 16A for the single phase
managed by the car, and the relative charging power is 3.6kW.

12.1.2 VEHICLE CHARGE IN DLM MODE

This charging mode can be set using the "I-CON MANAGER" APP or on the graphic interface and completing the
configuration in order to:
1. Determine the type of energy meter installed upstream.
2. Set the limit power of your domestic system
As already indicated in the previous chapters, an energy meter (code GWD6812 or GWD6817) must be installed
upstream of the electrical system and it must be connected to the charging station via the RS485 line
The presence of the external energy meter connected to the charging station and the indication of the system
variables allow the station to manage charging in a completely autonomous manner, varying the power based on
the trend of the domestic electrical consumption, thereby optimising charging as much as possible.
NOTE= for 4.6 and 7.4kW single-phase stations, it is only possible to associate the single-phase energy meter
GWD6812 to ensure that the setting related to system power is congruous. The same also applies for 11kW three-
phase versions, where it will only be possible to associate the three-phase energy meter GWD6817.
To enable a recharging session:
1
Make sure there are no errors on the charging station
Insert the charging plug in the socket-outlet of the station, and in the vehicle
2
or
Connect the mobile connector to the vehicle.
The station will decide if it is possible to start the charge or if it must
3
be kept in stand-by based on the domestic consumption detected.
The user does not have to do anything
At every moment, the station decides if it is possible to continue with
4
charging, or if it must be suspended to permit domestic consumption.
There is no action or operation that the customer can perform
Charging session in progress but car battery charged
5
or
Session suspended due to an increase in domestic consumption
The charging session was ended by the customer by disconnecting
6
the cable from the vehicle
7
If the station detects no errors, it will return to standby
