Inspect the equipment for damage and carry
out any necessary repairs before you restart
and use the equipment;
if the equipment begins to experience excep-
tionally strong vibrations, switch it off immedi-
ately and check it;

tighten them well.
Never operate the equipment in poor weather
conditions, especially if there is a risk of lightning.

1.3.4 Maintenance and storage
a) Make sure that all nuts, bolts and screws are
tightened securely and that the equipment is
in a safe working condition.
b) Routinely check the catch basket for signs of
wear and impaired functionality.
c) For your own safety, replace worn or dama-
ged parts without delay.
d) Remember that on equipments with teeth
units, the movement of one teeth unit may
result in the other teeth units starting to rotate.
e) While you are adjusting the equipment, take
care not to jam your fi ngers between moving
teeth and stationary parts of the equipment.

Allow the motor to cool before you put the
equipment away for any extended period of
time.
g) While you are carrying out maintenance work
on the teeth, it is important to remember that
the teeth can still be moved even if the drive
has been switched off .
h) For your own safety, replace worn or dama-
ged parts without delay. Use only original
spare parts and original accessories.

to replace an accessory, you must switch off
the drive, pull the safety plug from the equip-
ment and make sure that all moving parts
have come to a complete standstill. Allow the
equipment to cool before carrying out any
inspections, adjustments, etc. Treat the equip-
ment with care and keep it clean.

children's reach.
Service
Have your power tool repaired only by trained
personnel using only genuine spare parts.
This will ensure that your power tool remains safe
to use.

Please check that the article is complete as
specifi ed in the scope of delivery. If parts are
missing, please contact our service center or the
sales outlet where you made bought the product
within the maximum days indicated by the con-
sumer protection laws of your country and upon
presentation of a valid bill of purchase. Also, refer
to the warranty table in the service information at
the end of the operating instructions.
Open the packaging and take out the equip-
ment with care.
Remove the packaging material and any
packaging and/or transportation braces (if
available).
Check to see if all items are supplied.
Inspect the equipment and accessories for
transport damage.
