Beards, facial hair or anything else that prevents direct contact
between the face and the edge of the respirator will reduce the
effectiveness of this product. User should shave every day that
you use this respirator and all wearers should make sure that
there is no hair, jewelry or clothing between the skin and your
respirator. It is also important to understand that using this respirator
will not prevent contaminants from entering your body through other
routes such as the skin, which would require additional personal
protective equipment such as gloves or other protective clothing.
Inspect the respirator prior to each use and if any defect is found,
do not use. Check with your local authorities for proper disposal of
used respirators.
Use For
Non-harmful dusts and certain particles encountered during household
activities such as sweeping sanding (bare wood, non-lead painted*
surfaces or drywall) and dusting, pollen and mold spores** and
non-harmful dusts encountered during outdoor activities such as:
gardening, cutting firewood, raking and mowing. Always use in
well-ventilated areas.
*If you scrape, sand, or remove old paint, you may release lead
