correctly installed and filled water tray, and the heating element and grill plate inserted.

1. allow the appliance to cool before cleaning it.
2. Before cleaning, always turn off the appliance
and unplug it from the power supply.
3. Do not immerse the appliance or power
cable in water or other liquids.
4. Wipe off the stand, the gridwork shelf,
the grill plate, the tray surfaces and the
plastic insert with a damp cloth and a
little dishwashing detergent. Do not use
any abrasive scouring agents, steel wool,
metal objects, disinfectants, or hot cleaning
agents, since they can cause damage.

elements. The grill plate has a small recess
through which you can easily top up the
water without having to remove the hot grill
plate from the appliance.
10. Do not completely cover the grill plate with
aluminium foil or other objects that could
cause the appliance to overheat. Of course,
you can use conventional aluminium grill
trays, and you can also grill food wrapped in
aluminium foil, such as potatoes.
11. Do not touch the grill plate while the appli-
ance is in use, as there is a danger of being
burned. Even when grilling is over, the plate
remains hot for a certain time.
12. Frozen foods should be completely thawed
before grilling.
13. For optimum grilling results, turn the food
regularly.
14. It is possible that grease may splatter while
food is being grilled. Therefore, you should
protect the ground beneath the appliance to
prevent damage from splattering grease.
15. When you no longer need to grill, please set
the controller to the "MIN" position, and
then unplug the appliance from the power
supply.
5. The water tray should be allowed to cool
completely before removing it for emptying.
The grill plate and the water tray can be
washed in a dishwasher if required. We
recommend cleaning by hand, as aluminium
can discolour in a dishwasher. Such
discolorations are not harmful to health, and
are not a basis for complaint.
6. The appliance must be completely dry before
you use it again.
7. When completely dry, store the grill in a dry,
safe place so that it is protected from dust,
impact, heat, and moisture.
