4. Cut approximately 6.7 m/22 ft of new trimmer
line.
5. Put 1 end of the trimmer line into 1 of the holes.
6. Push the trimmer line through the trimmer head
and through the opposite hole.
7. Pull the trimmer line through the trimmer head
until there is an equal length of trimmer line on
each side.
8. Hold the lower half of the trimmer head stable
with one hand. Use your opposite hand to turn
the top half of the trimmer head. Continue to turn
the top half of the trimmer head until
approximately 127 mm/5 in of the trimmer line is
extended from each hole.
E
a) For straight shaft grass trimmers, turn the top
half (E) of the trimmer head clockwise.
b) For curved shaft grass trimmers, turn the top
half (F) of the trimmer head
counterclockwise.

To adjust the cutting path
You can adjust the trimmer line cutter to decrease or
increase the cutting path. Decrease the cutting path
to trim thick grass. Increase the cutting path to trim
large areas.
1. Remove the 2 screws from the cutter on the
trimmer guard.
2. Turn the cutter.
3. Install the 2 screws.

Note:
If the trimmer line is too long on one
side of the trimmer head, cut the trimmer line
to the correct length.
