staying on the ladder. You should adopt such an position when you are working, that there would be no need to draw hands for
a full length.
Keep the chain clean. The chain must be sharpened and lubricated. This will ensure a more efficient and safer work. The chain
can be sharpened in a specialized service. Before each use, check the condition of chain..
If you find cracks, broken out teeth or any other damage, you should, before the start of the work, replace the chain with a new
one.
In the case when you notice any damaged or broken parts of the chain saw, you should stop the work nor to start it. Damaged
parts must be replaced before the starting of work.

The chain saw should be repaired only in services, which has been authorized by the manufacturer. Use original spare parts. This
will minimize the risk of accidents and damage to equipment.

PRODUCT SERVICE

Preparing the chain saw for operation
Attention! Before all mounting and regulatory operations, you should disconnect the chain saw from the power supply. Chainsaw,
which are mains powered, should be disconnected from the wall outlet, the chain saw, which are battery operated, should be
disconnect from the battery.
Before using the chain saw for a first time, you must mount the guide and cutting chain.
Installation does not require any tools, however, for security reasons, it should be carried out with protective gloves.
Loosen the locking knob so that it is possible to remove the entire side panel.
Turn the chain tensioning knob so the guide is in its maximum rear position, this will facilitate the chain installation.
Install the guide and chain as it is shown in the picture (II).
Make sure, that chain and guide have been installed in the right direction. The shape and direction of the links, which is visible on
the housing of the chain saw and on the guide, should match the shape and direction of the chain. If on the chain there is visible
the indication of movement direction of chain, then it should be in the same direction as marking on the housing and guide.
You should not tension the chain yet, but to make sure that the chain fits in the guide row and in the teeth on the driving wheel.
Mount the side panel and tighten the locking knob. However, it should be done so it would not block the move of guide. By turning
the chain tension knob, you should adjust the chain tension. Tighten the locking knob. Check the chain tension. To do this, you
should put the chain saw and lift it holding by the middle part of the chain (III). During this test the chain in place of its holding
should raise more than 3 to 4 mm above the guide. If the chain is tensioned too tightly or too slightly, you should loosen the locking
knob slightly and adjust the chain tension again. The chain tension should be checked also every 10 hours of work.
Before connecting the chain saw to power, you should check its condition. If you detect any damage it is forbidden to connect it to
the power supply before removing the damage.
In the case when the chain saw is powered by a single-phase alternating current with a voltage of 230 V and frequency of 50 Hz,
the mains socket, which is supplying the chain saw, should be secured by a circuit breaking fuse of the tripping current of 30 mA
or less.
Oil addition (V)
Attention! Before all mounting and regulatory operations, you should disconnect the chain saw from the power supply. Chainsaw,
which are mains powered, should be disconnected from the wall outlet, the chain saw, which are battery operated, should be
disconnect from the battery.
For the lubrication of the chain and chain saw mechanisms you should only use the oil, which is intended for such purposes. For
the lubrication you should not use the worn out engine oil. It does not meet its task, which can cause damage to the mechanism
of chain saw.
Make sure, that lubricating oil is in its container. You should put the chain saw on a level surface, to check the oil indicator. The
oil level must not be less than an indication of the minimum quantity. If there is no such indicator, for reference, you should take
the bottom edge of the oil indicator.
It is forbidden to use the chain saw without the filled oil tank. This can cause damage to the chain, to guide and chain saw mecha-
nisms. It is recommended that, start and chain saw operation be made, at least 3 meters from the place of oil supplementation.
Oil should be supplemented away from sources of fire and heat.
In order to supplement the oil you should remove the oil tank cap, pour oil into the tank, so that the oil level aligns with a tag
indicating the maximum oil level or the upper edge of the oil level indicator, then firmly and tightly screw tank cap. If oil spills you
should carefully rub the remains of it before switching the chain saw to its supply.
