4. Description/Technical data
PFEIFER 1-leg and multi-leg chain slings quality
grade 8, 10 and 12 are assembled from PFEIFER
chains, connecting links and accessories. They are
used to form a connection between a load to be lifted
and a crane hook (i.e. attach) to subsequently lift and
transport the load.
Every chain sling is identified according to EN 818-1.
Equipped with a WLL identification tag, which specifies
the working load limit for multi-leg chain slings depending
on the angle of inclination. Moreover, the number of chain
legs, the serial number and the nominal diameter of the
chain are specified on the WLL identification tag.
