2.2 REMOVE BAYONET MOUNT PROTECTIVE CAP
2.3 ATTACHMENT AND DETACHMENT OF THE EYEPIECE
• Remove the protective cap for the bayonet from the eye-
piece by screwing it to the left (anti-clockwise).
• Align the marking on the eyepiece with the marking on the
bayonet fitting.
• Insert the eyepiece and turn it to the right (clockwise) until
the locking mechanism of the body clicks into the eyepiece.

(counterclockwise).

2.4 MOUNTING ON THE TRIPOD HEAD
SWAROVSKI OPTIK tripod head
The tripod base (AS) fits directly into the new SWAROVSKI
OPTIK PTH professional tripod head.
Other tripod heads
The tripod base has a connecting thread of 3/8˝ UNC. The
inserted bush reduces the connecting thread to 1/4˝ UNC.
The spotting scope fits on any standard tripod head, either
directly or using an adapter plate.
• To remove the eyepiece, press the
eyepiece lock on the base body forward
(in the direction of the lens) and twist
the eyepiece to the left (counterclockwi-
se) until it can be removed.
