1. Switching on
To display the reticle, first select between daytime and night-
time lighting (symbol) by turning the brightness control knob
in the corresponding direction.
2. Brightness control
You can now adjust brightness within the selected mode. Five brightness levels
are available in the nighttime range and ten brightness levels are available in the
daytime range.
3. Switching off
To switch off this mode, place the brightness control knob in the middle position.
You will feel the zero/neutral position lock into place.
4. Automatic shutoff function
If the brightness level is not adjusted within a period of one hour, the reticle will
automatically shut off.

To reactivate the reticle, turn the brightness control knob back to the zero position
and then reselect your desired reticle brightness in the daytime or nighttime
range.
2.9 DIOPTRIC CORRECTION FOR RETICLE
The dioptric setting ensures the reticle is in sharp focus.
• Switch on the brightness control knob and select a brightness level in which you
can clearly see the reticle relative to the chosen target object.
• Turn the magnification ring counterclockwise to the highest magnification.
• Now look into the eyepiece and slowly turn the dioptric correction with the help of
the supplied coin opener until the reticle appears sharp.
