2. FUNCTIONING: ACTIVATING THE MONITOR MANUALLY (AUTO-ON)
With the monitor in idle mode or in any other menu other than the administrator, press
the (camera) button, to manually turn on the monitor.
This establishes communication with 'Panel 0' of the block corresponding to the monitor
(if present). If none exists, 'Panel 1' of the same block will switch on automatically; if this
does not exist either, communication will be established with the panel designated '0' in
the General Entrance.
Once communication with a panel is established, you can change it by pressing the
push button (camera).
Notes:
- Auto-on only works with suitable panels. If you are unable to effect auto-on, check with
your installer. If it is unable to connect to any of the three possible panels, the monitor
will issue an error tone and return to its idle state.
- Once a conversation with a panel is over, pressing the auto-start button within the
following 15 seconds will reconnect you to that panel.
