INSTALLATION & USE
Screw the axis onto the base. Place the
cheese holder on the axis and screw the
holder down by turning it clockwise.
Installing the heating element and

Place the heating element on the
aluminum block on the base and attach
the rotary knob.
Turn the cheese holder out of reach of
the heating element. Place the cheese
in the cheese holder. Clamp the cheese
into the cheese holder by tightening the

large rotary knob. Turn on the appliance
by switching the on/off button to '|'. The
HOT
appliance needs roughly 5 minutes to
warm up. A small amount of smoke may
appear when the appliance is used for the
first time.
Turn the cheese holder so that the cheese
is directly under the heating element.
Ensure that the surface of the cheese
to be melted is parallel to the heating
element at a distance of about 2cm.
The height of the cheese holder can be
altered by turning it to the left or right
around the axis. The cheese holder can
also be adjusted horizontally by means of
the small adjusting screw on the cheese
holder.
Once the cheese has melted enough, it
can be scraped off and eaten. Turn the
cheese holder so that the cheese is next
to the heating element. Tilt the cheese
holder over the hinging point and scrape
the melted cheese onto a plate.
Remove the rind that has not melted every
4th or 5th time you scrape off a layer of
melted cheese. Switch off the appliance
immediately after use.

INSTALLATIE & GEBRUIK
Draai de as in de grondplaat. Plaats de
kaashouder op de as en draai de houder met
de klok mee naar beneden. Het plaatsen van
HOT
het verwarmingselement en het aansluiten
op het lichtnet: zorg dat de draaiknop uit
het aluminiumblok op de grondplaat is
verwijderd. Plaats het verwarmingselement
op het aluminium blok op de grondplaat en
bevestig de draaiknop.
Draai de kaashouder buiten het bereik van
het hitte element. Plaats de kaas op de
kaashouder. De kaas wordt in de kaashouder
geklemd door de grote draaiknop van
de kaashouder aan te draaien. Zet het
apparaat aan door de aan/uit knop op "|"
te zetten. Het apparaat moet ongeveer 5
minuten voorverwarmen. Bij een eerste
gebruik kan het voorkomen dat er zich een
kleine hoeveelheid rook voordoet.
Draai de kaashouder zodat de kaas zich direct
onder het hitte element bevind. Zorg dat het
te smelten oppervlak parallel staat aan het
hitte-element op ongeveer 2 cm afstand.
De hoogte van de kaashouder kan gewijzigd
worden door deze links of rechtsom rond
de as te draaien. De kaashouder is tevens
horizontaal in te stellen door middel van de
kleine stelschroef aan de kaashouder.
Als de kaas genoeg gesmolten is kan
deze afgeschraapt en gegeten worden.
Draai de kaashouder zodat de kaas zich
naast het hitte element bevindt. Kantel
de kaashouder over het scharnierpunt en
schraap de gesmolten kaas op een bord.
Verwijder na elke 4 à 5 keer smelten de niet
weggesmolten korst. Schakel het apparaat
direct uit na gebruik.
