Technical refinements of the Pilot's Watch Hand-Wound
Your IWC watch shows you the time in hours, minutes and seconds. A
rotating bezel is also provided with a luminous triangle with which various
times can be marked. The case and the buckle of your watch are made of
solid platinum or stainless steel. The watch is water-resistant 6 bar and
protected by an antireflective coated sapphire glass of hardness grade 9.
The mechanical movement visible through the case back has 18 jewel
bearings (synthetic rubies). It is specially engraved and decorated and has
a power reserve of 46 hours when fully wound. To ensure that this extra-
