SERVICE PARAMETERS

Table 1 is intended for the Service personnel only. The parameters can be viewed by connecting a PC on which the Service Tool
software is installed, as described in section 9.1.

GAS VALVE CALIBRATION

To calibrate the gas valve, proceed as follows:
1) Calibrating MAXIMUM heat output
Check that the measured on the flue duct, with the boiler operating at maximum
heat capacity, matches that indicated in table 1. If it does not, turn the adjustment
screw (V) on the gas valve. Turn the screw clockwise to decrease the level of
anticlockwise to increase it.
2) Calibrating REDUCED heat output
Check that the measured on the flue duct, with the boiler operating at minimum
heat capacity, matches that indicated in table 1. If it does not, turn the adjustment
screw (K) on the gas valve. Turn the screw clockwise to increase the level of
anticlockwise to decrease it.
P : OFFSET measurement pressure tap
Pi : Gas supply pressure tap
Pout : Burner gas pressure tap
V : Gas flow adjustment screw
K : OFFSET adjustment screw

Final instructions

• Remove the measurement device.
• Tighten the cap on the combustion gas measurement point.
• Put the front cover back on again.
• Heat the system up to about 70 °C.
• Switch off the boiler.
• Vent the system after about 10 minutes (refer to chapter 7.6 in the User manual).
• Switch on the boiler.
• Check the airtightness of the combustion fume evacuation and comburent air intake system.
• Check the hydraulic pressure of the CH circuit. Adjust the pressure if necessary (the recommended hydraulic pressure is 1.0
- 1.5 bar).
• Make a note of the type of gas used on the plate.
• Train the user in operation of the boiler and control panel (and/or remote control, when applicable).
• Provide the user with all the instruction manuals.
