The PRIMUS 2 H2N/H2N+ functions

8.1 TILT X axis/Y axis

The TILT axes function can be used to tilt the axes independently of each
other within a range of ±10 %. With the Primus 2 H2N+ the tilt setting is also
monitored!
X axis
The figure to the right shows the tilt if a positive
percentage value is set.
Y axis
The figure to the right shows the tilt if a positive
percentage value is set.
X and Y axis
The figure to the right shows the tilt if positive per-
centage values are set (X-axis +5 %, Y axis +8 %).
NOTE
To set larger tilts it is helpful or rather it is necessary to »pre-tilt« the laser in the appro-
priate direction within the horizontal levelling tolerance of ±5° (8.8 %).
If the laser is not »pretilted« for large tilts, the laser head cannot move to the set tilt for
technical reasons. The LED and the warning symbol in the display flash.
Invoke TILT function,
press button twice
X axis and tilt symbols
Accept 0.00 % value with the button or set
are displayed flashing
a value, e.g. +5 %, for X axis using the comfort
functions of the

buttons (see Page 37)
