Chain lubrication
Chain oil can lubricate and cool the chain:
1.
Turn off the chainsaw and disconnect the power supply.
2.
Position the chainsaw in a horizontal position with the spout of the oil tank facing upwards.
3.
Clean the oil tank and surrounding area with a damp cloth.
4.
Rotate the top of the oil tank anticlockwise so that it can be removed.
5.
Remove the top of the oil tank.
6.
Pour the chain oil to the appropriate level to avoid any overflowing.
7.
Tighten the cap.
8.
Hand-press the air bubbles on the cap. If it is necessary to lubricate the chain during use,
press the air bubble once or twice and turn the chain for at least 3 seconds.

Motor lubrication
After prolonged use of the chainsaw (once a year, at the end of the season)
it is advisable to lubricate the motor with 10 ml of gear grease.
1.
Turn off the chainsaw and remove the battery
2.
Remove the pinion locking cover
3.
Remove the bar and the chain
4.
Thoroughly clean the exposed area to prevent dust and wood residues from entering the
motor compartment.
5.
Remove the screw indicated below.
6.
Add from 5 ml to 10 ml maximum of gear lubricant grease into the hole
7.
Follow the steps above to reassemble the chainsaw.
8.
Connect the battery and operate the chainsaw 1 or 2 times for 5 or 10 seconds so that the
added grease is distributed inside the motor.
WARNING: adding too much grease could damage or impair the performance of the chainsaw.
If during use, grease comes out of the pinion, it means that too much grease has been added.
It is recommended to take the chainsaw to a service centre to see if it needs replacing or if the
motor can be cleaned by specialist personnel.
Chain sprocket maintenance
a. Users are not allowed to remove the chain sprocket themselves.
b. If the chain sprocket is damaged or defective; do not use the tool and contact your local dealer
or Stocker S.r.l.
