Important information on batteries

ATTENTION:
Incorrect use of batteries can result in leakage or cracks and ultimately in damage to your product.
Please be aware of the following precautions:
- Make sure you always switch the device off before changing the batteries.
- Pay careful attention to correct polarity (+/–).
- Never mix batteries of different types, or mix old with new.
- Never leave used batteries in the battery compartment as this may result in faulty operation.
- Remove the batteries if the device is not to be used for a long period.
- The batteries supplied are not rechargeable.
- Do not expose batteries to direct heat. Do not short-circuit batteries and do not attempt to take them apart.
- If a battery leaks, clean the battery compartment immediately, ensuring that battery fluid does not come into contact with skin.
Note on disposal: Please only throw discharged batteries away at collection points provided by the dealer or the local authori-
ties. Batteries are generally discharged when the device is switched off and indicates "battery flat" or, after prolonged periods of
use, "no longer work efficiently". To be on the safe side, place sticky tape over the poles of the battery or put them into individual
plastic bags.
