5. The engine starting:

5.1 Eletrical start in gasoline mode.
1 On the main control panel, check if the emergency stop button is not
pressed. Otherwise, the engine will not start.
2 Disconnect all equipment from generator or ensure that its switch is in the
OFF position. The starting of the generator has to be done without
equipment connected.
3 If a propane cylinder is connected, check if the valve is closed, according to
the figure below.
4 Turn the selector (DIAL) to the ON-GASOLINE position, according to the
figure below.
IMPORTANT: As soon as you select the GASOLINE mode, on the control panel,
a light indicator (red) will flash for 4 minutes (before turning off), according to the
figure above. The engine can only start during this period of four minutes.
If the 4 minutes have run out and the engine has not started, the indicator light
(red) turns off and the starting doesn't happen more. It will be necessary to move
again the DIAL to the OFF position and then select GASOLINE again for another
4 minute period. This system is designed to prevent and avoid, as far as
possible, an unintentional battery discharge.
