Attention! In the factory setting the voltage detection is
switched on OFF.
3. The mass signal is switched on the alert system by means of the
input of the bonnet contact switch. When opening the bonnet at an
activated system the alert is triggered off for approx. 30 seconds.
This input can also be used for the connection of the minus
controlled door contacts. For this purpose, however, the additional
door contact connection MSK-150SW is required (see E).
Back Up siren
The magic safe MSK-150 is equipped with a back up siren. When the
alarm system is activated and the voltage supply is interrupted, 10 alert
cycles of each 30 secs. with a break of 15 secs will be triggered off.
This function provides an additional protection against sabotage from
outside.
Attention! The Back Up battery is charged by the vehicle
supply system on board. Before its first use, the battery
should be charged for at least 24 hours so that it can obtain
the full capacity. The back up alarm can only be tested after
24 hours in order to avoid any damage of the battery.
Zone by pass
The magic safe MSK-150 alert system has got a so-called zone by
pass. Should an alert be triggered off 10 times in a row from one alarm
input while the system is activated the alert no. 11 will be ignored until
the source of intereference is detected or the alarm system is
deactivated. This has got the advantage that the MSK-150 cannot
discharge the car battery.
