EN
Add frothed milk to your espresso to make cappuccino.
1.
Prepare the espresso in a large cup (see PREHEATING and MAKING ESPRESSO).

milk for all the cappuccinos.
2.
Press the Steam button to switch the steamer on. The Coffee button indicator will switch off. Wait until the
green indicator on the Steam button illuminates.
NOTE: The indicator on the Steam button switches off during the heating process and turns green once

3.
Fill a frothing jug with about 150 ml of whole or semi-skimmed milk for each cup of cappuccino. For best

Insert the steam wand in the milk and turn the Steam control knob anti-clockwise to steam Level 1. Steam

6.
Turn the Steam control knob anti-clockwise to increase the steam level (total 6 levels) as required. Always
turn the Steam control knob gradually.
WARNING: Do not turn the Steam control knob quickly, as steam will accumulate too quickly and cause
excessive pressure, which may result in an explosion.
7.
When the desired froth or texture has been created, turn the Steam control knob clockwise to the
(OFF) position. Remove the steam wand from the milk.

knob to the
Use a milk frothing jug that is slim and tall, ideally stainless steel, bearing in mind that the milk will double
