2.3 Sources of danger

2.3.1 Danger of injury

WARNING
By careless use of the device risk of injury exist because of sharp
edges. Note the following warnings to avoid injury.
 The blades are very sharp, touch them exclusively at the drive shaft.
 Put on the blade guard when you are not using the appliance.
 After switching it off , wait for the motor to stop before opening the
appliance and replacing accessories. Do not touch any parts that
are still in motion!
 Never fi ll hot food / hot liquids into the device. Risk of injury! The
device could be damaged.
 The appliance is unsuitable for chopping hot or liquid ingredients
at a temperature of more than 75 °C.
 Do not place the glass container in a microwave oven or oven. Do
not wash with hot water above 75 °C.
 WARNING: After chopping the ingredients, always remove the knife
fi rst and only then the chopped ingredients.
