II -3-SECURING THE PROTECTIVE FLAP

Install the internal rubber guard

Attach the external flap using the stainless steel bars and bolts of the buoyancy tube kit.
Apply sealing compound on all the screws and in the hull holes to achieve watertightness.
Attach the strap to the bow chain plate (1).

After fixing the internal protective flap on the hull, pull the buoyancy tube gently towards
the forward section in order to send the external protective flap over the forward nose (do not
attach it at this point)). Then pull the buoyancy tube towards the aft end.
NOTE:
The external protective flap should be fixed on after the
buoyancy tube has been inflated.
To fix and maintain the front of the buoyancy tube, refer to the
flap strap assembly instructions, in the buoyancy tube box
containing a shackle, the strap and instructions.
NOTE:
The buoyancy tube is fitted to the hull with the buoyancy tube
The buoyancy tube can be inflated while not installed
(pressure 240 mb) and let it stabilize for around one hour. Then deflate it.
