Follow these steps:
1. Open the Base Handle.
2. Remove and discard the Shipping Plug.
3. Insert the Transitional Member into the Base Handle and close.
The MAYFIELD Base Handle must never be in the locked position
without a transitional member (or link arm) in its receptacle.
Failure to do so may result in damage to the handle receptacle.
