At the start of every working day and after the treatment of every patient, the water-conducting systems should be rinsed for at least 2 min. without the instrument being attached. CAUTION! Do not disconnect the handpiece from the micromotor while it is functioning.

Only use chlorine-free disinfectant products that have been certified by officially recognised institutes.

    -External disinfection Remove the head from the handpiece, clean and disinfect the head after each treatment to remove any liquids (e.g. blood, saliva, etc.) and prevent them from depositing on the external parts. CAUTION! The saline solution is extremely aggressive and can rust steels in no time.

    - Automatic cleaning Use an ISO 15883 compliant washer-disinfector that uses an alkaline cleaning agent with a maximum pH of up to 10. - Disinfection External manual: disinfect using a clean cloth soaked in a suitable substance (e.g. O-phenylphenol or ethyl alcohol). Products not recommended: disinfectants based on benzalkonium chloride, acetone or glutaraldehyde.
