4. Rinse the sensor with the deionized water:
a. Close the flow cell valve.
b. Push and hold the deionized water valve until the deionized water fills the flow cell.
c. Open the flow cell valve to drain the deionized water.
5. Calibrate the sensor with the pH 7 buffer solution:
a. Close the flow cell valve.
b. Push and hold the pH 7 buffer valve until the buffer solution fills the flow cell.
c. Use the controller to set the pH 7 buffer calibration point.
d. Open the flow cell valve to drain the buffer solution.
6. Do step 3 again to flush the sensor with the rinse water.
7. Do step 4 again to rinse the sensor with the deionized water.
8. Close the drain valve.
9. Close the vent valve.
10. Slowly open the sample valve to start sample measurements again. Refer to
flow on page 18.
Section 7 Maintenance
Multiple hazards. Only qualified personnel must conduct the tasks described in this section of the
document.
7.1 Clean the manifold assembly
Clean the external surfaces of the manifold assembly with a moist non-abrasive cloth and a mild
soap solution. Do not use organic solvents or other cleaning solutions.
7.2 Replace the solutions
To replace the solution in a container, disconnect the quick-connect fitting and fill the container with
new solution. Refer to
leakage. Examine the containers and tubing for wear and replace as necessary.

instrument or equipment malfunction. The replacement parts in this section are approved by the
manufacturer.
