2.6. REMS CamScope Wi-Fi
Use the Smartphone/Tablet-PC preferably in portrait format. Switch on the Smartphone/Tablet-PC, see the operating instructions of the
Smartphone/Tablet-PC. Download application software REMS CamScope App from
App Store or Google Play and install on your Smartphone/Tablet-PC. Internet access with the Smartphone/Tablet-PC is required for this which could
cost money. The hand-held device (5) is switched on by turning the On/Off wheel (4). The Power-LED (6) lights green. Switch on the WLAN of the
Smartphone/Tablet-PC, see the operating instructions of the Smartphone/Tablet-PC. Select "WIFICAMERA" from the list of WLAN devices. Enter the
WLAN password "88888888". After making wireless contact between the hand-held device and the Smartphone/Tablet-PC, start the REMS
CamScope App application software. The camera image is displayed in the application software. Set the brightness of the colour camera LEDs by
turning the On/Off wheel.
3. Operation
3.1. Endoscope camera
After switching on the endoscope camera (see 2.6.) the camera image is shown in the display (19) or in the Smartphone/Tablet-PC.
-NOTE-
Do not kink the camera cable. Observe the smallest permissible inside radius of all camera cables of 11 cm!
3.2. Smartphone/Tablet-PC
The Smartphone/Tablet-PC with the installed REMS CamScope App application software can be used as a video recorder. Photos and videos
optionally with voice recording can be recorded on the Smartphone/Tablet-PC whilst observing the object. See the operating instructions of the
Smartphone/Tablet-PC.
3.3. Taking a Photo
The photo is saved on the Smartphone/Tablet-PC by touching the Record photo button (25).
3.4. Recording a Video
Start video recording by touching the Record video button (24). If the video is to be recorded with voice recording, set this to ON in the menu (11) first
by touching the Voice recording button (27). Voice recording is picked up by the Smartphone/Tablet-PC microphone. The recording is stopped by
touching the Record video button again. The video is saved on the Smartphone/Tablet-PC. This is switched back off by touching the Voice recording
button (27) again.
3.5. Photo and Video Playback
The application software for Android automatically creates a folder for saving the photos and videos on the Smartphone/Tablet-PC. The folder name
is REMS. Touch the Play photos/video button (23) to show the recorded photos/videos. A list of the recorded photos/videos appears. The photo is
shown full screen or the video played by touching a photo/video briefly. If you touch a photo/video in the list for longer, it is possible to delete it or
send/transfer it with the application software installed on the Smartphone/Tablet-PC; see the operating instructions of the Smartphone/Tablet-PC and
the application software. There may be costs for sending/transferring. Photos/videos can also be called outside the REMS application software; see
the operating instructions of the Smartphone/Tablet-PC.
In the application software for iOS the recorded photos/videos are shown in a list by touching the Play photos/video button (23). The photo is shown
full screen or the video played by touching a photo/video briefly. Deletion or sending/transfer of the recorded photos/videos is only possible outside
the REMS application software. See the operating instructions of the Smartphone/Tablet-PC and the application software. There may be costs for
sending/transferring.
