Disassembly
1. Remove endcover and gasket alt.
o-ring.
2. Pull out the impeller using two screw
drivers or other suitable implement.
3. Remove the cam and wash away
residual traces of sealing compound on
the cam and inside the pump body. On
F8B also remove the wear plate.
4. Remove mech seal and O-ring.
5. Loosen the screw (pos 37) and remove
springholder, spring and clutch cone.
Dismantle shafthub with bearing and
pulley.
6. Loosen the screws (pos 38) which
holds clutch carrier. loosen the lever
with spring and ball. Dismantle clutch
carrier.
7. Remove the retaining ring (pos 12) for
the bearing assembly.
8. Remove the shaft with ball bearings by
pressing on the shaft end from the
impeller side.
9. Remove the ball bearings/retaining
ring and the spacer. On F8B do not
press the ball bearings over the sealing
surface.
Assembly
1. Mount ball bearings/retaining ring and
the spacer on the shaft. On F8B do not
press the ball bearings over the sealing
surface.
2. Press the shaft with ball bearings into
the body and fit the retaining ring
(pos 12).
3. Assemble the clutch carrier with the
screws (pos 38) and assemble the lever
with spring and bau.
