IMPORTANT WARNING! It is critical that all Yakima racks and accessories be properly and securely attached to
your vehicle. Improper attachment could result in an automobile accident, and could cause serious bodily injury
or death to you or to others. You are responsible for securing the racks and accessories to your car, checking
the attachments prior to use, and periodically inspecting the products for adjustment, wear, and damage.
Therefore, you must read and understand all of the instructions and cautions supplied with your Yakima
product prior to installation or use. If you do not understand all of the instructions and cautions, or if you have
no mechanical experience and are not thoroughly familiar with the installation procedures, you should have
the product installed by a professional installer such as a qualified rack specialty installer or auto body shop.

REMOVE THE ACCESS POINT COVERS.
Using a plastic pry tool,
carefully pry up and remove
each of the 4 covers from
the rails on your vehicle.

IDENTIFY WHICH TYPE OF RAILS YOU HAVE.

INSTALL THE LANDING PADS.

Refer to the vehicle icon on the Landing
Pads to identify the proper placement.

Determine which style of rail
you have. If you have the style
of rail on the left, remove the
screws using the provided Torx
wrench. Be careful not to move
the flush rail from its default
position. Then proceed to step 3.
If you have the style of flush rail
on the right, proceed to step 3.

Using the icon embossed on each Landing Pad,
identify the correct position for each Landing
Pad. Place each Landing Pad into the opening and
make sure that each Landing pad is fully seated.
