the blender or whisk attachments, it can
be operated without interruption for a
maximum of 60 seconds at settings I or
II, after which it should be allowed to cool
down for approximately 5 minutes until it
has reached room temperature. When using
the chopping attachment, do not operate for
more than 10 seconds at settings I or II, after
which it should be allowed to cool down for
approximately 5 minutes for the appliance to
cool down to room temperature.

The blender is equipped with 2 push-type
operating buttons.

Blender operation
∙ When fi tting the blender attachment to the
drive unit, ensure that the arrow mark and
the open-lock symbol are aligned: to lock,
turn the blender attachment so that the
arrow on the drive unit is aligned with the
closed-lock symbol on the attachment.
∙ Always use a suitable container for
operation. Any tall container with a fl at
base is suitable.
∙ Push the blender attachment down
into the ingredients in the bowl before
switching the unit on with the operation
buttons.
∙ Make sure that the attachments can
rotate freely inside the bowl and are not
blocked during operation.
∙ As soon as the operating button is
released, the blender will switch off.
Always wait until the motor has come to
a complete standstill before lifting the
blender attachment from the mixture.
∙ Remove the plug from the wall socket
after use.

socket before changing any attachments.
The attachments are fi tted to the drive unit.
Ensure that the arrow markings on the drive
unit and attachments are correctly aligned.
Chopping attachment
∙ Fit the cutting blade unit into the bowl
before fi lling the bowl with the food to be
chopped. Exercise extreme caution:
The blades are very sharp. When
handling the blades, always hold them by
the upper protective plastic covering.
∙ Position the lid on the bowl and lock it by
turning clockwise until it locks into place.
∙ Attach the drive unit to the lid of the bowl
and turn to lock; ensure that the arrow
and closed-lock symbols are properly
aligned.
∙ Insert the plug into the wall socket and
press the operating button in brief bursts
until the mixture has reached the desired
consistency. During processing, the lid
and bowl should be securely held in
place.
∙ Avoid overfi lling the bowl; it may be fi lled
with herbs etc. up to the maximum mark.
Before the bowl is fi lled, the food to be
processed should be cut into pieces of
about 1 cm.
∙ Do not fi ll the bowl with hot liquid or
very hard material such as ice cubes,
nutmegs, hard grain, coffee beans, hard
cheese, chocolate, rice or spices. The
appliance is designed to process food
items such as raw meat, cheese, herbs,
walnuts, almonds and plums.
