10.13 Use of color filters
1. Insert the color filter in the slot of the filter holder. (Fig. 33)
2. Move the slider into one of the three available position until it
clicks into the right position.
FILTER
Converts the source colour temperature to
Blue
Reduces lighting irregularities by creating a
Frosted white

11. Use of the microscope in Darkfield (DF)

11.1 Switching Darkfield observation
• The microscope allows to work in brightfield (BF) or darkfield (DF).
• For observation in darkfield it is necessary to use specific objectives called "BD".
1. Move the lever in "DF" position for darkfield illumination. (Fig. 21)
• Darkfield objectives also allow observation in brightfield.
