PRODUCT FUNCTIONS

The reset function automatically closes the protection switch if it
automatically trips due to a temporary electric fault. Reset also occurs in
the case of overload.
Before closing the switch, the device checks for earth failures or short
circuit downstream. If it detects a failure, it goes into lock status; otherwise
it closes the switch.
After a third cut-in of the automatic switch within three minutes of a
previous automatic reset, the device goes into lock status.
To re-enable the restart function, open the hatch, raise the switch lever
to position "I" and close the hatch.
If the switch does not remain in position "I", stop trying and call a
specialised technician to check the system.
The restart function cannot be activated when the switch is open.
To activate it the switch lever must be raised to position "I" and the
hatch closed.
When the functions are activated, the switch lever can be partially
covered by the hatch.
