Operation
4.1
Preparation
1. Connect the connecting cables (fig. 2, item 2 and 3)
to the test adapter (fig. 1, item 10 and 11).
2. Press the test adapter firmly onto the Velcro strip of
the DNOX tester (fig. 2, item 1).

The mating Velcro strip is attached to the back of
the test adapter in the lower third area.

Connecting test adapter
Important information on working with the test adapter
can be found in the "Repair information", "Testers and
tools" and "Component preparation" Sections of the
separate DNOX 2.2 ESI[tronic] repair instructions.
These should be carefully studied prior to start-up, con-
nection and operation of the tester and must always be
heeded.

Servicing and faults
5.1
Cleaning
Clean the housing with a clean cloth or blow out with
compressed air.

Never use alcohol-based cleaning agents, as this
could damage the housing.
5.2

Fault rectification

5.2.1
Circuit breaker (fig. 1, item 5) in test adapter
tripped
Incorrect selection of 12 V (fig. 1, item 3) / 24 V
(fig. 1, item 4) power supply Heed the voltage indi-
cated on the plug connection of the supply module
Check the voltage set on the the voltage stabilizer
and adjust accordingly

Functional test not possible
Refer to the information in the "Diagnostic tester/
functional tests" Section of the separate DNOX 2.2
ESI[tronic] repair instructions.
