4 . SETUP AN D OP E RAT ION
4.1 BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all transport safety and packaging parts and keep them away from
children – risk of suffocation!
2. Before using for the first time, clean the inside of the jug and the whisk (4 and 5)
with warm water. Follow our cleaning and care instructions.
3. Wipe the outer body of the jug (7) with a well-wrung damp cloth. Keep the base (11)
away from water. Risk of electric shock!
4.2 OPERATION
Warning - risk of burns
Only operate the milk frother with the lid on. After use, the outer surface of the jug is
still hot. Caution!
Warning - risk of injury
Always use fresh milk. Do not consume milk that has been standing in the jug
for a long time.
If you lift the jug (7) from the base (11) during operation, the preparation process stops
automatically. Put the jug back on the base and start the preparation again with the
on/off switch (9).
Function of the on/off switch:
The on/off switch (9) is used to select the operating mode of the milk frother. Press the
on/off switch (9) repeatedly until the symbol of the desired operating mode (8, 10, 13, 14)
flashes. If there is no pressure on the on/off switch (9) for about 3 seconds, the selected
operating mode starts to light up permanently and starts. After the programme of the
selected operating mode is finished, the milk frother switches off automatically.
The duration depends on the selected operating mode and the amount of liquid filled in.

Warm, thick foam
Select this mode to obtain warm milk
foam with a firm consistency.
Heat milk and stir
Select this mode with whisk (4) to heat
milk.
Warm and creamy foam
Select this mode to obtain warm,
creamy and fine milk foam.
Heat milk with little milk foam
Select this mode to heat the milk.
Cold frothing
Select this mode to obtain cold, creamy
milk foam
