Tick removal: The sooner the tick is removed, the lower the risk of transmission of viruses and
bacteria.

Grab the Zecken-Fix tweezers by the black handle and hold them between the thumb and
middle finger. Put the index finger (of the same hand) on the annular end of the metal grip and
pull the ring towards you to push the tick grip apart.

Grab the tick with the tweezers tips as close to the skin as possible, slowly releasing the index fin-
ger. At the same time, be careful not to crush the tick body! Now slowly twist the tick
(the direction does not matter). As a result of slow twisting, including pauses, the tick can crawl out
on its own.
Improper use/contraindications to the use of the product: Any other use or use outside
the above intended use shall be considered improper. The manufacturer is not responsible for da-
mage resulting from such use. In this case, all risks are assumed solely by the user.
Additional information: if used and stored properly, the tick removal tweezers will serve you
reliably for many years.
Warnings: Keep the tweezers out of the reach of small children. Danger of swallow-
ing small parts! Before use, disinfect the Zecken-Fix tweezers with alcohol or clean with ano-
ther disinfectant to eliminate (including the unlikely) infection with the tick removal tweezers.
Tick removal should only be done by adults.
