2. GENERAL USE &
SAFETY WARNINGS
While using this machine,
several
basic
precautions must always be followed
in order to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shocks and personal injuries.
Read and understand the
manual before start using this
equipment. Save this manual for
future reference.
2.1 - GENERAL
These
preventive
measures
essential for your safety; always use
the machine with care, in a responsible
manner.
The machine, accessories included,
may only be used by who have read
and fully understand the operating
instructions. Before operating it for the
first time, its user must be instructed
by the vendor or a competent person
about its functionalities. This instruction
manual in an integral part of the
machine and must always be provided.
Get familiar with the equipment's
control devices and operation. The user
must know how to stop the equipment
immediately.
Use this equipment only if you are in
good physical and mental conditions.
Do not use it if you are tired or under
the influence of alcohol, drugs or
medication. If you suffer from any
health problem, please ask your doctor
about the possibility of using the tool.
Those who have cardiac devices
(pacemakers) must not operate this
type of tool nor be close to them
without medical permission.
The starter system of this tool
produces an electromagnetic field
during its operation. This may, in some
circumstances, interfere with active or
passive medical implants. To reduce

the risk of serious or even fatal injuries,
everyone who has this type of devices
must consult their doctor before using
the equipment.
Never allow this machine to be used by

2.2 - FUELING AND HANDLING
Gasoline is toxic and highly
flammable!

Always tighten the container cap.
Damaged covers must be replaced.
Keep gasoline away from sparks,
flames and any source of ignition. Do

or machines, or during the filling
process.
Fill and empty the fuel tank only
outdoors. The fuel provision must be
carried out before starting the engine
and with the machine placed on the
ground, in a level surface.
Before refuelling, turn off the engine
and allow it to cool down. Open the
cover carefully in order to dissipate the
existing overpressure inside the tank.

needs room to expand, therefore
never add fuel above the bottom

2.3 - TRANSPORTATION
Carry the unit only when the engine is
off. Before moving it, stop the engine
and wait for the cutting accessories
to stop completely.
Always transport the unit when the
engine is cold and without fuel.
This prevents gasoline leaks during
transport.
Always fasten the machine when
transporting it and install the disc
protection.
2.4 - BEFORE OPERATING
Make sure that the machine is used only
by who is familiar with the instruction
manual.
Before starting the unit, check if
the fuel system is properly
sealed, especially the visible parts such
as the tank, tank cap and hose
connections. In case of leak or damage,
the combustion engine shall not be
initiated. Only an official dealer is
authorized to repair the unit.
Pay attention to the area where the
device will be used and check for
obstacles (rocks, tree stumps, roots,
trenches, etc.), objects (coiled wires,
metal parts) or loose stones. Not being
