Question/Problem
The engine does not start:
� No fuel in the carburetor;
� No fuel in the tank;
Clogged fuel pipes;
Fuel pipes badly assembled or folded;
� The fuel in the tank is of poor quality, has water,
is dirty or is already old;
� The cap is off the spark plug;
The ignition cable is not properly connected;
� The spark plug has soot or is damaged;
Wrong distance between the electrodes;
� The air filter is dirty;
� The fuel filter is obstructed;
� The combustion engine is "soaked" due to many
attempts to put it to work;
Low performance:
� Wrong fuel mixture;
� Badly adjusted throttle cable;
� Clogged fuel filter, flaw in the carburetor or clogged
valves;
The engine runs irregularly and produces
smoke:
� Dirty air filter;
The engine is too hot:
� Cooling fins are dirty;
Strong vibration while operating:
� Loose engine housing;
9. FAQS / TROUBLESHOOTING
Solution
� Press the carburetor pump several times until it is full
of gas;
� Fill the tank;
Clean the pipes;
Reposition or straighten the fuel hose;
� Empty the fuel tank and carburetor pump;
Use new fuel (proper mixture).
� Place the cap in the spark plug;
Check the connection between the ignition cable and
the plug;
� Clean / replace the spark plug;
Set the distance between the electrodes;
� Clean / replace the air filter;
� Clean the fuel filter;
� Loosen the spark plug and dry it, pull the starter handle
several times with the spark plug untied;
� Use a suitable fuel mixture;
� Adjust the throttle;
� Replace or repair faulty parts;
� Clean the cooling fins;
� Clean the cooling fins;
� Tighten the engine fixing screws;
