When the hob is in the safety lock mode, all the controls are
disable except the ON/OFF, you can always turn the induction
hob off with the ON/OFF control in an emergency, but in the
next operation you must first unlock the hob.
Over-Temperature Protection
There is a temperature sensor to monitor the temperature inside
the Induction hob. When an excessive temperature is detected, the
Induction hob will stop operating automatically.
Detection of Small Articles
When an unsuitable sized or non-magnetic pan (e.g. aluminium), or
some other small item (e.g. knife, fork, key) is left on the hob, the hob
will automatically enter standby mode in 1 minute. The fan will keep
working for another minute.
Auto Shutdown Protection
Auto shut down is a safety protection function for your induction hob.
It shuts down automatically if you forget to turn off your appliance. The
default working times for the various power levels are specified in the
following table:
Power level
Default working timer (hours)
When the pot is removed, the cooking zone will stop heating
immediately and the hob will switch off automatically after 2 minutes.
People with a heart pacemaker should consult with their
doctor before using this unit.
Using the Timer
You can use the timer in two different ways:
• You can use it as a minute-minder. In this case, the timer will not turn
off any cooking zone after the set time is up.
