Never try to charge non-rechargeable batteries. If attempts are made to charge this type of battery,
they may not only run out but also explode, which may lead to destruction, the risk of fire and not
least to injuries. Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the scooter before charging. Make
sure that rechargeable batteries are only charged under adult supervision. Use only the batteries
specified in the scooter. Please remove empty batteries from the scooter and dispose of them in
an environmentally appropriate manner. Do not combine used and unused batteries in the scooter.
Remove the batteries when the scooter is not in use.
GETTING STARTED IS ALWAYS THE HARDEST PART...
... most accidents happen to "beginners" in the first ten minutes. Take particular care during this
time!
HOW TO RIDE
The scooter is propelled by pushing off regularly with your foot, just like the popular children's
scooters. Braking is also easy: just step on the rear wheel friction brake (mudguard).
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Only use a cloth or damp rag to clean the product; do not use special cleaning agents! Check
the product for damage and signs of wear before and after use. Store the product in a safe place
protected from the climate, so that it cannot be damaged. Lubricate the moveable parts with light
machine oil at regular intervals.
CHANGING THE WHEELS
Replacement wheels are available as accessories from http://www.hudora.de/ and should be
replaced when they get worn down. To change the wheels, loosen the axle screw using two Allen
keys (size 5) and take the wheel off the axle. You can push the bearing out of the wheel using a
screwdriver or Allen key to continue using it in the new wheel. However, it is usually advisable to
change the bearing at the same time as the wheel. Reinsert the bearing with the spacer sleeve in the
new wheel and mount on the frame with the axle screws. Make sure that the axle is tightly screwed
before you start off again!
BEARINGS
Your scooter is equipped with precision bearings which were filled with grease at high pressure during
manufacture. For this reason, the wheels will only run lightly and quickly when weight is placed upon
them. The bearings do not need maintenance. If a bearing is knocked out, it should be replaced
completely. Bearings are available as accessories at http://www.hudora.de.
WARNING
The scooter is only suitable for one person. The scooter should only be used on suitable surfaces;
these should be smooth, clean and dry. Avoid sloping terrain. The brake can become hot if used
constantly! It should not be touched until it has cooled off.
Always be considerate of other people.
For your own safety, make sure you wear suitable protective clothing. Warning! Never ride without a
helmet, wrist, elbow and knee protectors. You should never ride without shoes!
Before you get started: check that all connecting elements and locking pieces are firmly fixed,
e.g. the folding mechanism and steering column height adjustment. The efficiency of self-locking
threads can decline after the connecting elements have been loosened and tightened several
times.
Do not ride in dim light, at night or when visibility is poor. Do not ride on roads or in passages or
on slopes and hills. Keep away from stairs and open water.
The scooter is not suitable for jumps.
The scooter is not a vehicle as described in the road traffic code! It is suitable for riding on
footpaths.
For your own safety, please use original spare parts only. These can be sourced from HUDORA.
Do not make any structural changes. If parts become damaged or if sharp edges or corners
should develop, the product may not be used any more. If in any doubt, please contact our service
team (http://www.hudora.de/).

AVVERTENZE GENERALI
consultabili sul sito web all'indirizzo http://www.hudora.de.
