3.1
General description
The SILENT flow sensor measures the flow rate that flows through it. The measured flow rate is com-
pared electronically with a threshold value defined in the unit. If the flow rate is less than the defined
threshold value for a certain period, this is indicated by an acoustic as well as a visual signal�
The SILENT flow sensor meets the requirements of the section on flow rate monitoring units in Annex A of
the testing principles GS-IFA-M20-2012-12 issued by the IFA (German Institute for Work and Health)�
