6.7.1 "PRE-BREWING" programming
The possibility to select the "PRE-BREWING" func-
tion has been included.
Machine off. Turn the machine on by pressing:
- The key "a" (Fig. 06-13) of the first group to
ENABLE PRE-BREWING.
The system confirms the operation, keeping light
"pos. a" on.
- The button "b" (Fig. 06-13) of the first group
to DISABLE PRE-BREWING.
The system confirms the operation, keeping light
"pos. b" on.
Turn the machine off and on again. Check the
desired setting.
The pre-brewing times are the pre-set ones.
6.7.2 Turning on the lights
You have the option of choosing to enable/dis-
able the keypad lights.
Machine off. Turn the machine on by pressing:

- The "c" key (Fig. 06-13) of the first group, un-
til the relative LED lights up, to ACTIVATE the
function.
- The "d" key (Fig. 06-13) of the first group, until
the relative LED lights up, to DEACTIVATE the
function.
DE model
- The a - d - f keys (Fig.06-13) of the second
group, until the relative LEDs light up, to ACTI-
VATE the function.
- The b - d - f keys (Fig. 06-13) of the second
group, until the relative LEDs turn on, to DE-
ACTIVATE the function.
Turn the machine off and on again. Check the
desired setting.
6.8 Dispensing coffee in the pot

Coffee can be dispensed directly into a pot or
tall cup.
To perform this procedure, remove the base grille,
as shown in Fig. 10, then position the cup and
dispense the coffee as previously described.
6.8.1 Group washing
DE model with automatic steam wand
When pressing and holding down the key (Fig,
06-13; pos. f), press the key (Fig. 06-13; pos.
a), the group washing programme is activated
(dispense water five times for about 10 seconds
each); start doing this only after having inserted
the filter holder with the blind filter provided. To
stop the program, press any key.
This program must be used to clean the hydraulic
circuit of the group, as described in chapter 6.2
in daily cleaning.
6.9 Pressure gauge
The machine has a double scale pressure gauge
that can control the following pressure:
Boiler pressure gauge (Fig. 11 - A)
scale 0~3 bar (0~0,3 MPa)
Indicates the normal working pressure of the
boiler.
Pump pressure gauge (Fig. 11 - B)
scale 0~15 bar (0~1.5 MPa)
The pressure gauge indicates the maximum pump
pressure during operation. When the motor pump
is idle, the pressure gauge indicates the water
supply pressure.
