3.8 Filling the system and bleeding the air
While starting the system, make sure that electricity is present. If there is no power, loosen the
electrothermal head.
- To fill the system, make sure that the water is at a temperature above 20°C
or fill the radiator from the return pipe (horizontal version) or delivery
pipe (vertical version).
- Switch on the radiator with the standby button.
- Open the system check devices (manual or automatic).
- Set the set point temperature to room temperature.
- Start to fill the system, slowly opening the water cock to fill the system.
- Open the breather valve on the radiators and the higher breather valve on the
coil with fins
- When water starts to come out from the breather valve, close them and
continue to fill the radiator to the rated value for the system.
Check the hydraulic tightness of the seals.
We recommend repeating this operation after the appliance has been operating for a few hours
and to regularly check the system pressure.
