3. Press the front-assist handle onto the shaft.
Make sure that the front-assist handle is
positioned upwards and points toward the
top of the rear handle (Fig. 7).
4. Mount the hex bolt and the wing nut and
pre-tighten the wing nut (Fig. 8).
5. Adjust the front-assist handle position
so that it is within the mounting zone, as
shown in Fig. 9. The handle should be po-
sitioned so that the arm that is holding the
handle is straight when using the trimmer.
WARNING
the mounting zone, not exceeding the limit
label, so that the distance between the center
of the handles is at least 9-7/8" (250 mm) for
safe operation.
6. Tighten the wing nut to prevent the handle
from moving along the shaft.
