11.12 Use the quick release wheels
WARNING!
1. Before removing a wheel make sure that the wheelchair does not incur accidental falls
2. Do not remove a wheel with the patient seated on the wheelchair
The Relief wheelchair is equipped with quick release wheels. To remove the wheel press the button
in the centre and extract the wheel outwards. Follow the procedure reversed to position the wheel.
11.13 Use the shoulder stopper
The shoulder stopper can be adjusted in height, length and in orientation:

the shoulder stopper by unloosing the knob in the back.
11.14 Use the headrest
The headrest can be adjusted in height, depth and orientation:

- unloose the knob in the back of the headrest
Adjust the depth
- unloose the knob in the back of the headrest. The support allow the headrest to
be adjusted in depth and inclination.

11.15 Use the handle bar
The handle bar is intended to wheel the wheelchair or to adjust the backrest and the seat inclina-
tion. The handle bar can be adjusted in height by unloosing the knobs on the bar, then lift or lower it.
11.16 Use the anti-tipper castors
Adjust the height by pulling the metallic ring, release it when the correct adjustment is found
11.17 Use the brakes
The back wheels are provided with drum brakes. Press the correspondent lever on the handle bar.
Release to wheel the wheelchair.
NOTE
THE BRAKES CAN AUTOMATICALLY REMAIN LOCKED. TO USE THIS FEATURE PUSH
THE LOCKING ELEMENT UNDER THE BRAKE LEVER. TO UNLOCK THE BRAKE PRESS THE
LEVER UNTIL THE LOCKING ELEMTENT IS COMPLETELY OUT FROM THE GEAR.
11.18 Carrying
The wheelchair has been designed to be easily carried. Follow the reversed procedure described in
"Assembly" chapter. The closed wheelchair can be carry in the car boot.
