Marking Bracket Spacing:
Align top and bottom angle brackets on mounted
stair post adjacent to stair railing section and
mark the rail at the end of each bracket (Fig. 5).

Marking Bracket Angle:
While holding angle brackets adjacent to stair
railing sections check for proper bracket angle
and mark the hole on the inside of the angle
brackets (Fig. 6).

Cutting Rails:
a. Remove stair railing section from clamped posts.
b. Locate your previous marked lines on your
stair railing sections and add 1" to your pre-
determined lengths for bracket depth (Fig. 8).
c. Cut all four marks with a hacksaw at 90
degrees (Fig. 9).
NOTE:
You will have to cut through an aluminum
insert in the top rail.
