UV Lamp
Once flow has been established, the 5000TOCi is ready to begin taking TOC mea-
surements. If sensor activation is desired at this time, set the UV Lamp to On. Allow
approximately one minute for readings to begin. additional time (approximately 4-24
hours) may be necessary for the readings to stabilize as the sample line rinses clean,
and the TOC sensor reaches thermal stability.
Auto Start
The 5000TOCi sensor can be configured such that the UV lamp will automatically
turn on after recovering from a power loss or fault condition. If automatic recovery is
desired, set the Auto Start option to 'ON'. Auto Start can be configured in
Configure (C), c measurement c parameter setting
It is recommended that auto Start be set to 'On'. The default setting is 'OFF'.
