NOTE: the CALC CLEAN indicator light button is only active when the memo is activated,
illuminating the indicator light and emitting the acoustic signal.
Do not leave the appliance unattended while the CALC CLEAN function is active.
Do not interrupt the CALC CLEAN process once it has begun.
Problem
The plate (7) remains
cold or does not heat
up.
The plate temperature
indicator light (6)
switches on and off.
Impurities emerge from
the holes, dirtying the
fabrics.
Water leaks from the
plate.
The iron emits an
acoustic signal and the
CALC CLEAN indicator
light flashes.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Possible cause
There is no power supply.
Normal procedure.
Chemical additives, scented
liquids or descaling agents are
being used.
Starch is being used.
The plate (8) temperature
setting is too low.
The steam request button (4)
has been over-used.
It's time to use the CALC
CLEAN function.
Solution
Make sure the power supply cable plug
(1) is inserted correctly, or try inserting it
in another socket.
Check the temperature adjustment knob
(8) is not set at the minimum temperature.
The indicator light switches on and off to
indicate the heating phase of the iron.
The LED goes off once the set temperature
is reached.
These substances damage the appliance.
Do not add additives to the water.
Always spray the starch on the reverse
side of the fabric.
Rotate the temperature adjustment knob
(8) to
or MAX.
Wait slightly longer between one steam jet
request and the next.
Refer to the Maintenance and Storage
chapter.
