Avoid the risk of fatal injury

Check the lamp for possible damage before
every use. Never use the light if it shows any
signs of damage.
A damaged light means danger of death from
electric shock. In the event of damage, repairs
or other problems with the light, please contact
the service centre or an electrician.
To avoid hazards, if the external flexible lead
on this lamp is damaged it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, their service representatives
or an equivalent professional!
Ensure before use that the available mains
voltage is the same as the voltage required for
operating the lamp (see "Technical data").
Ensure that the light does not come into contact with
water or other liquids under any circumstances.
Always unplug the light from the mains prior to
assembly, disassembly, cleaning or if the light
will not be used for extended periods.
Never open any of the components of the elec-
trical equipment or insert any objects into the
same components. This will pose a risk of fatal
injury from electric shock.

Preventing fire and
injury hazards
CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY!
Check each bulb for damage immediately after
unpacking. Do not install the light if the bulbs
are defective. In this case, contact the service
centre for a replacement.
CAUTION! DANGER OF BURNS DUE
TO HOT SURFACES!
Ensure the light has been switched off and has
cooled down before touching it to avoid burns.
Lights develop a lot of heat around the lamp head.
Replace defective lamps with new ones imme-
diately. Always remove the mains plug from the
socket before replacing the bulb.
Do not cover the light or the mains plug with
objects. Fire can result from the excessive heat
development.
Do not operate the lamp unattended.
Do not leave the light or packaging material ly-
ing unattended. Plastic film / bags, plastic parts
etc. are dangerous for children to play with.
ATTENTION!
Do not look into the LED from a close distance
during operation.
Do not look at the LED with an optical instrument
(e.g. magnifier).
This light is not suitable for dimmer
or electronic switches.
For your safety
Only use lamps as specified in chapter
"Technical data".
Mount the light so it is protected from moisture
and dirt.
Make careful preparations for mounting and
allow yourself adequate time. Organise all parts
and any necessary additional tools or materials
before starting so they are easy to reach.
Always be attentive! Always pay attention to
what you are doing and use common sense.
Never install the light if you are having difficulty
concentrating or do not feel well.
