Do not use any abrasive cleaners or metal pads to clean the Pressure Canner, this can damage the
surface.

Never spray or apply cleaner directly onto or into the Pressure Canner.
•
The Pressure Canner is not dishwasher safe.
Note: To remove dark spots from the aluminum, repeat the procedure for " Before First use" and add 2
tablespoons of baking soda.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
•
Always allow the Pressure Canner to completely cool before storing.
•
Replace your silicone gasket once every two years or if it shows any signs of splitting or damage.
•
Always use an MIRRO genuine silicone gasket that matches your model of Pressure Canner.
•
Turn the lid upside down and place on the pot
•
Store your Pressure Canner in a dry location, such as on a tabletop, countertop, or on a
cupboard shelf.
•
Other than the recommended cleaning, no further user maintenance should be necessary.
