BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all packing material and stickers from the product and save the instruction manual.
Caution: Tear up all plastic bags as they can pose a risk to children.
• Wash cooking pot and lid with warm sudsy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Apply a very light coating of cooking oil to the sealing ring and to the underside of the lugs on the
Pressure Canner pot to help make the lid easier to open and close.
Note: the appearance of stains on the bottom of the pot's interior does not affect the quality of the
metal. To remove these tartar deposits, use a sponge and diluted vinegar.
