Do not open the Pressure Canner until the unit has cooled and all internal pressure has been
released. If the handles are difficult to push apart, this indicates that the cooker is still pressurized -
do not force it open. Any pressure in the cooker can be hazardous.
Do not use this Pressure Canner for pressure frying with oil.
When the normal operating pressure is reached, turn the heat down so all the liquid, which creates
the steam, does not evaporate.
Do not place anything on top of the Pressure Canner when the lid is closed, when in use, and
when stored.
Be extremely cautious of any steam when opening and removing the lid.
Do not touch, cover, or obstruct the safety valve, safety lock pin or pressure regulator on the top of
the Pressure Canner as it extremely hot and may cause burns.
Alcohol vapor is inflammable. Bring alcohol to the boil some two minutes before putting the lid on.
Watch over your Pressure Canner when making alcohol-based recipes.
Never use your Pressure Canner to store acid or salty foods prior to and after cooking for this may
damage your Pressure Canner body.
To ensure safe operation and satisfactory performance, replace the silicone gasket if it becomes
hard, deformed, cracked, worn, or pitted. It is recommended that the silicone gasket be replaced at
least every two years.
If during use you notice that any part of your Pressure Canner is broken or cracked, do not attempt
to open it under any circumstances; turn off the heat and leave on the hob to cool down completely
before moving it or opening the lid. Do not use it again
