HEATING SETTINGS (CH)
If system I7 using RVA46.531 zone regulators and a QAA70 room
unit is used, consult the corresponding product manuals for informa-
tion on setting time bands and the corresponding temperature set-
points.
Selecting the day of the week (MASTER)

May be used to set the day or whole week for which you wish to sche-
dule heating times.
a) Press the row selection buttons to select row 5
b) Press the +/- buttons to preselect the entire week or an individual
day.
1—7 = whole week selected
1...7 = number of the selected day
– This setting is required before entering heating time
bands.
– For each day on which you wish to set different switching
schedules, you must first select the day before entering
the time bands. The recommended way to proceed is to
select the whole week (1 – 7) and enter the switching
times that will apply to the majority of days of the week,
then select individual days (1...7) to make the necessary
adjustments.

Switching times (time bands)
of timer programme (MASTER)
This function is for setting switching times for the timer pro-
gramme when the required temperatures for the heating cir-
cuit change.
a) Press the row selection button to select row 6-11
b) Press the plus/minus buttons to set switching times on
each row.
Remember to pre-select the day of the week (row 5) for which the
switching times are to be entered first!
At the times specified the programme will switch to the corre-
sponding temperature values. The table below shows the times at
which the required values will be activated.

Room temperature (comfort) setpoint – (MASTER)
This parameter displays the room temperature setpoint. The room
temperature setpoint is set on the controller thermostat and is the
COMFORT temperature.
a) Press the row selection buttons to select row 70.
b) Plus/minus settings are not accepted.
The temperature set on the knob will automatically be displayed on
this row.
The controller compensates the delivery temperature on the basis of
outdoor temperature. If the room comfort temperature is not rea-
ched the following two types of response are possible:

room unit (system I7), the room tem-
perature setpoint is the temperature
programmed on the unit and the knob
on the RVA46.531D has no effect.

Reduced room temperature setpoint (MASTER)
May be used to set a lower room temperature when the room
is not being used, for instance at night, and to save energy.
The heating system has three different setpoints which may
be set:
– the reduced room temperature setpoint described here
– the room temperature setpoint (set with the knob)
– the anti-freeze room temperature setpoint (set on row 15)
a) Press the row selection buttons to select row 14
b) Press the plus/minus buttons to adjust reduced room tempera-
ture setpoint

Anti-freeze room temperature setpoint (MASTER)
This function prevents room temperature from falling below the anti-
freeze setting.
a) Press the row selection buttons to select row 15.
b) Press the plus/minus buttons to adjust the anti-freeze room tem-
perature setpoint.

Summer/winter switchover temperature (MASTER)
The summer/winter switchover temperature is the criterion used
for automatically switching the heating system from summer to
winter operation.
a) Press the row selection buttons to select row 16
b) Press the plus/minus buttons to select the summer/winter
switchover temperature

The attenuated outdoor temperature (Taged) is calculated every 10
minutes on the basis of the actual outdoor temperature (Takt) and
has a direct effect on summer/winter switchover.
